We focus on leadership and workers training as it aligns with the Biblical values of equipping and training leaders for ministry. 2 Timothy 2:2 exhorts us to “entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” This process of teaching and reproducing leaders ensures that the church continues to grow in a healthy and sustainable way.
Ephesians 4:11-13 underscores the importance of training workers and leaders for the work of ministry in the body of Christ. It states that, “he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.”
By providing epignosis training, which entails a deep understanding of God’s word, our church prepares its workers and leaders to be effective in their ministry. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us that whatever we do, we should do it as if we were doing it for the Lord. This means that training workers and leaders in the church is not just about developing skills but also fostering a heart for serving God.
